Personalized christening set 925 silver Teddy Silhouette — rattle + spoon, both engravable

SilberKosmos brings together two individual pieces from the Italian manufacturer Zaramella for this personal christening set: the Teddy Silhouette rattle with a smooth handle and smooth belly surface, and the curved baby spoon featuring the same motif. Both items are crafted from 925 sterling silver and can be engraved—there is space for a name and date in two locations: on the rattle and on the back of the spoon handle.

Material and Silverwork

On the rattle, the teddy forms a flat contour: the head, ears, and limbs stand out as a clear line, while the inner surface of its body remains perfectly smooth; below this runs an equally smooth handle, approx. 12 cm long and approx. 17.5 g in weight. The curved baby spoon follows a gentle S-shape, with the same bear contour appearing as a small relief at the end of the handle, while the bowl remains polished to a mirror finish; the weight is approx. 32 g. Combined, the christening set weighs approx. 50 g—both pieces come from the Italian manufacturer Zaramella, model name "New Bear".

The Teddy as a Motif

Even as a flat contour, the teddy remains what it has been for generations: a familiar comfort figure of childhood, a symbol of closeness and security. The clear line makes the motif immediately recognizable on both pieces, giving the rattle and spoon a cohesive look.

The Teddy Silhouette Family

We also offer the same silhouette on a teether rattle with a pearl-white acrylic ring. If you prefer a bear with a round body instead of a flat contour, we also carry a christening set with the Sitting Teddy, also featuring a rattle and spoon, both of which are engravable. If you are looking for a nighttime motif instead of a teddy, we also offer the Stars & Moon christening set.

Engraving and Personalization

The rattle's belly surface and handle are suitable for engraving, while the back of the spoon handle is used for the spoon. If you would like to have them engraved, please add the Engraving Service Fee to your shopping cart; the specific text can be arranged with you afterward. Upon request, we can also provide a complimentary SilberVerse card: a creative poem tailored to the name and occasion, printed in a 15 × 10 cm format. Further details can be found on the About SilberVerse page.

Care

You can clean both pieces with lukewarm water and a little mild detergent, then dry them with a soft cloth. For the engraving, a soft polishing cloth used with light, even pressure helps. Please avoid putting either piece in the dishwasher. Like all rattles, this set should only be handled by children under adult supervision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an engraving possible with this set?
Yes, for both pieces: the rattle's belly and handle as well as the back of the spoon handle can accommodate a name and date.

What is the difference between the silhouette and the fully 3D teddy?
This figure remains flat with a smooth inner surface, whereas our Sitting Teddy is designed as a three-dimensional figure with a rounded body.

Why is the spoon curved?
The curved shape is intended to help keep the spoon steady during feeding.

For what occasion is the set suitable?
Primarily intended as a christening gift, it is also perfectly suited for a birth, especially if the engraving and card are added at a later time.

How does the christening set reach you?
The rattle and spoon come together in an elegant gift box, ready to hand over at the christening. If you would also like the set in gift wrap, just let us know.

Is this motif also available as a 3D figure?
Yes, as a separate christening set with the Sitting Teddy, also including an engravable rattle and spoon.
