What exactly is the SilberKosmos?

SilberKosmos is not a catalog. It is a universe of meaningful gifts — curated for people who want to give something that lasts. In this space, Russian and Italian silversmithing, the meticulous work of our Chemnitz engraving studio, and poetic language combine to form a whole: gifts that are not just beautiful, but narrative. Gifts that are not just presented, but connecting.

What SilberKosmos is

SilberKosmos is the brand family behind premiumgeschenk.de. It encompasses everything we do: from our curated range of fine silver gifts to the individually composed poetry that can accompany every piece; from the engraving service in our Chemnitz studio to the history of the manufacturers in Veliky Ustyug.

We do not see gift-giving as a transaction. A cup, a spoon, a jewelry box — these pieces are not placed on our shelves because they happen to sell. They are chosen because they have a purpose: to tell stories, to commemorate, to endure. That is the core of our promise — meaningful gifts that won't disappear into a drawer after three months.

Several manufacturers shape our collection — currently, the foundation is formed by: SevChern with the Veliky Ustyug niello tradition dating back to 1683, ArgentA with silver enamel for child-friendly motifs, complemented by ZARAMELLA Argenti from Italy (especially known for high-quality baby rattles and classic silver work), and Russkiye Samotsvety from Russia with their filigree enamel jewelry tradition. Added to this is our own engraving service in Chemnitz and our sub-brand SilberVerse for poetic gift cards.

How it all began

It started with a simple thought: high-quality gifts for special people — personal, elegant, and of lasting value. What began as a small project for gift ideas became an entire universe through vision, patience, and many conversations.

The turning point was a realization: nobody is looking for a product when they are looking for a gift. Whoever gives a gift is looking for a moment. A feeling. A memory — something that will still be there in twenty years, carrying stories. This insight led to the idea of a brand family that does not just focus on the pieces, but on the context in which they are given: the occasion, the recipient, the message, the keepsake. We call this context the SilberKosmos.

Behind the SilberKosmos umbrella are several brands — each with its own task, all part of the same promise.

• Premium Gift Ideas — the origin, the shop itself. Here you will find the entire range: baptism gifts, baby gifts, accessories for adults, silverware, works of art.
• SilberMomente (SilverMoments) — our storytelling sub-brand. Here we show how a piece of silver becomes a moment: SilberMomente is gifting with style and soul.
• SilberVerse — individually written poetry as a gift card. Included free of charge upon request with every gift: a specially composed verse of 3–4 lines in your preferred language, printed as a 15 × 10 cm photo card, in a standard silver, white, or black frame. Find out more at About SilberVerse.

What we stand for

Four principles underpin everything we do:

1. Genuine craftsmanship. Every piece we sell comes from a manufacturer with a history. SevChern in Veliky Ustyug (Russia) has been working in the niello tradition since 1683; ArgentA brings decades of experience with enamel. From Italy comes ZARAMELLA Argenti — a traditional silversmithing firm that supplies us primarily with high-quality baby rattles and classic silver work. From Russia, pieces from Russkiye Samotsvety with their filigree enamel jewelry tradition complement our range. We do not sell mass-produced goods — we curate what lasts.
2. Meaning over arbitrariness. We help you find the right piece for your specific occasion — not just what happens to be in stock. If a piece isn't the right fit, we will tell you. If another is better suited, we will suggest it.
3. Personal touch. Engraving, SilberVerse, individual consultation — these are not extras. They are part of our understanding of gift-giving. An engraving on the piece, a verse on the card, a picture frame for the card — the second layer of every gift.
4. Heirlooms instead of consumption. What we sell is meant to stay. It shouldn't shine for one season only to be discarded the next, but rather accompany generations. Silver, niello, enamel — these materials are made exactly for that.

Who is behind this

Behind SilberKosmos is not an anonymous platform, but an owner-operated business based in Chemnitz. Roman Lukiyanov founded the brand, manages the manufacturer contacts himself, and writes every SilberVerse personally or curates it with creative care. When you reach out to us, you are not writing to a service center, but to a real person with knowledge of silver, niello, the traditions of gift-giving, and what makes a gift truly meaningful.
