This is how the engraving service works

1. Send an engraving request: Specify the item, engraving text (max. 30 characters), font and position.
2. Feasibility check: We will check your desired item and get back to you with a confirmation.
3. To place an order: Add the silver item and the corresponding engraving fee to your shopping cart together.
4. Engraving and inspection: Your item will be engraved, inspected and carefully packaged.
5. Shipping: You will receive your personalized silver piece within 3–5 working days — free shipping within Germany.

Care of engraved silver pieces

Rinse engraved silver items by hand with warm water and mild dish soap. The engraving is permanently etched into the silver and can withstand normal cleaning. For light patina, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient—it will even make the engraving more visible. Do not treat items with gold plating or niello decoration with harsh chemicals. Not dishwasher safe.

Not every item is suitable — shape and material thickness play a role. Therefore, we check the feasibility before every engraving.

How long does the engraving take?
Typically 3–5 business days from receipt of payment. Niello decoration or gilding may take longer — we will inform you in advance.

Can I also have a logo engraved?
Yes, custom designs are possible upon request. Please send us your artwork as an image file.

How do I order the engraving?
Add the silver item and engraving fee (20 characters = €19.90 / 30 characters = €29.90) to your shopping cart. We will contact you after you place your order for further details.

Can I undo the engraving?
No, an engraving is permanent. That's why we'll review the text with you before proceeding.
