Children's dessert spoon 925 silver Mischka — bear figure

This 925 sterling silver children's dessert spoon features a sitting, smiling bear wearing a small crown at the end of its handle — a different face than the bear with the heart field from the other Mischka pieces, but part of the same family. A narrow, curved line runs down the stem before it transitions into the oval bowl.

Motif: smiling bear with a small crown

Unlike the bear with the heart field that connects the other Mischka pieces, this dessert spoon features its own bear: smiling, with a small crown on its head and ears, snout, and paws sculpted in relief. Instead of a heart field, a fine, curved decoration runs along the stem — a second face of the same Mischka family, without repeating the heart motif.

Material and Craftsmanship

The spoon is made of 925 sterling silver, is approximately 16.5 cm long, and weighs about 46 grams. The bowl is smoothly polished and intended for daily as well as festive use; the bear at the end of the handle also serves as a tactile stimulus for children's hands. Entirely without enamel or gilding, the entire surface remains uniformly polished.

The Mischka family in comparison

Those looking for the bear with the heart field instead will find it on the standalone baby spoon with heart or on the spoons in the Mischka sets, such as the gift set with mug. The related Honey Bear line shows the same concept in color, with enamel and a small crown, for example with the Honey Bear children's spoon – though that piece is not in silver without color.

Occasions and target groups

A silver spoon with a bear motif is a classic gift for a birth or baptism, often intended in many families to be the child's first piece of silver. It is also well-suited for a first birthday or as a godparent's gift, as the bear stands as a symbol for security and the first years of childhood.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Names, a date of birth, or a short dedication can be placed on the smooth back of the stem. To do this, add the engraving service flat rate to your shopping cart, and we will arrange the exact text with you afterward. If you prefer it without an engraving, we can include an individually designed SilberVerse card for the occasion free of charge upon request.

Care

925 silver will tarnish slightly over time — this can be easily refreshed with a soft silver polishing cloth. Hand washing with lukewarm water and a mild dish soap is the most gentle method; you should avoid the dishwasher to preserve the fine details on the bear.
