Children's Cutlery Stars 925 Silver Gold Plated — Pure 3-pc with Cup

A spoon alone often looks lost under wrapping paper, and a cup without matching cutlery feels incomplete. If you are looking for a complete table set for a christening or birth that doesn't think in terms of pink or light blue, but rather in calm, timeless elegance, this 3-piece star set made of 925 sterling silver is the perfect solution: a child's cup, fork, and spoon with gold-plated stars and a small crown, completely free of colored enamel. It is precisely this restraint that makes the set a gift that is equally suitable for daughters, sons, godchildren, and grandchildren.

Material and craftsmanship

All three pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and are highly polished so that the cup, fork, and spoon reflect light evenly. The stars and the small crown are purely gold-plated, without any color accents from enamel. The set comes from the ArgentA manufactory and is part of the collection's Star Edition. The cup has a decorative handle that is easy for small hands to grasp, while the fork and spoon have rounded edges adapted to a child's mouth. This ensures the set is not just for display, but a piece that is actually used in everyday life.

Occasions and target groups

As a christening gift, this set covers two needs at once: a dignified cup for a child's first attempts at drinking and a complete set of cutlery for the weaning phase. For a birth, it becomes an enduring gift from grandparents or close friends who want to give more than just a single piece. The constellation is also well-suited for a first birthday, when the child begins to eat independently with a fork and spoon. Because the gold plating avoids color-coding, the set is suitable for girls and boys alike — practical if the gender is not yet known or if a specific color scheme is not desired. Those giving gifts to siblings or several godchildren can create a uniform style with this neutral set.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The backs of the fork and spoon handles are smoothly polished and offer space for initials, a name, or a date. The back of the cup can be used for a main engraving, such as a name and birth date. The gold-plated star plaques themselves remain untouched and are not engraved further. On request, we include with your order a 15 × 10 cm landscape format SilberVerse card — free of charge, individually tailored to the occasion and recipient, and newly designed for this gift.

Care

Clean the cup, fork, and spoon by hand with warm water and a mild detergent, then dry with a soft cloth. We advise against using a dishwasher, as heat and aggressive cleaning tabs can damage the gold plating over time. The polished silver surfaces can be refreshed with a soft silver polishing cloth — avoid the gold-plated star and crown plaques to ensure the gold plating lasts.

Frequently asked questions

Is the set equally suitable for girls and boys?
Yes. The pure gold plating without colored enamel makes the set deliberately gender-neutral. It is suitable for daughters, sons, godchildren, and grandchildren without being tied to a specific color code.

From what age can the set be used?
With supervision, the cup is suitable for milk or tea from about 6 months. The fork and spoon usually become interesting from about 1.5 years of age, when children begin to eat independently. With a handle length of around 13.5 cm, the cutlery will accompany a child well into their toddler years.

Can I add to the set later?
Yes, further pieces from the same Star Edition, such as a child's knife or additional cutlery, can be ordered. If you are interested, just ask — we will check availability with you.
