Description
A 925 sterling silver picture frame with an embossed floral pattern — the Florence in a large 20 x 25 cm format. The Florentine ornamentation, associated with fine silversmithing since the Renaissance, appears here as a dense relief of blossoms. Backing made of wenge, sealed with anti-tarnish lacquer: the frame maintains its shine without the need for regular polishing.

Material and Craftsmanship
The fine floral pattern is not an appliqué, but an embossing worked into the silver surface under pressure. This creates a relief that casts varying shadows depending on the light, giving the surface a lively appearance. The 3 cm border width gives the frame weight and presence without overshadowing the inserted photo. An anti-tarnish lacquer keeps the silver permanently shiny, and the wenge backing provides stability for both portrait and landscape formats. This piece is curated by ZARAMELLA from Italy.
Use and Occasions
For an anniversary, wedding, Mother's Day, or baptism — the Florence is a gift for moments that deserve a large-format photo. You insert the picture that is currently the most important to you and can replace it with a new one at any time. The frame itself remains the silent setting for these memories for years to come.
Engraving and SilberVerse Card
Upon review, we can engrave the frame with a monogram, a date, or a short text. Enter your desired text when ordering. Upon request, we will also include a personal SilberVerse card in 15 x 10 cm photo format — individually designed, matching the occasion, and free of charge.
Care
The anti-tarnish coating protects the surface permanently; polishing is not necessary. Clean the frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth if needed. Avoid using silver polish, as this may damage the lacquer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the inserted photo?
Yes, the wenge backing can be opened, allowing you to replace the photo at any time.
Does the frame need to be polished?
No, the anti-tarnish coating protects the surface permanently. No regular polishing is necessary.
What distinguishes the Florence from the Dublin frame?
The Dublin has a hammered, simple surface with a border width of 1.6 cm. The Florence features an embossed floral pattern with a border width of 3 cm — it is more ornamental and has a stronger presence.
