Description
A girl's set from the DoDo series by ArgentA: pacifier, cup, and spoon, crafted from 925 sterling silver. The cup features a small bear head with delicate enamel and gold-plated accents, while the same bear appears on the spoon as a full-bodied figurine without any color. Intended as a birth gift.
For Birth
Three pieces, one occasion
A complete trio for the beginning, presented as a whole.
View birth giftsThe three pieces at a glance
On the handle of the spoon sits a small, upright teddy bear with a round head and outstretched arms, made entirely of polished silver without any color. The handled cup, by contrast, features the bear's head with delicate enamel and gold-plated details, plus three tiny, colorful enamel dots on the handle. The pacifier includes a small bow for attachment.
What is this set suitable for?
Whether for a birth, as a christening gift from godparents, or for a baby shower – three matching pieces are more impressive than a single item. Parents appreciate the complete set, and grandparents find it to be a gift that honors tradition.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
ArgentA takes a look at the piece before any engraving is performed on this set; the flat fee for this is called the Engraving Service. The back of the spoon handle is intended for this. If you prefer to give a personal line, you can order the complimentary SilberVerse card: a landscape-format card, 15 by 10 centimeters, featuring a verse for the child and the occasion.
Care
For the spoon and cup, hand-washing with mild dish soap and lukewarm water is sufficient; dry well afterwards. You should not scrub the enamel and gold-plated surfaces, and you can remove any light patina on the silver with a silver polishing cloth. This set is not dishwasher safe.
Frequently asked questions
What is the purpose of the pacifier for daily use?
None, in a practical sense – it is intended as a keepsake and decorative item, not for daily use on the go.
Can the set be engraved?
This primarily concerns the spoon, the back of which ArgentA inspects beforehand for this purpose.
What do the gold-plated accents on the cup show?
They distinguish the bear's head in color from the shiny silver and lend the cup a festive touch.
Is there a corresponding set for a boy?
Yes, under DoDo Bear Set for boys.
