Material and Craftsmanship

The star appears on all three pieces as a raised relief, not printed and not color-finished — on the body of the cup, on the end of the spoon handle, and on the outer surface of the napkin ring. No base metal, no coating that could wear off over time: all three parts are made entirely of 925 sterling silver throughout and are polished to an identical high-gloss finish, ensuring the ensemble remains recognizable as a matching set at the table.

For a christening, the star serves as a symbol of guidance that is not tied to any gender. Care

For all three pieces, washing by hand is sufficient: lukewarm water, a drop of mild dish soap, then dry well. A silver polishing cloth will completely remove any light tarnish, as none of the parts have enamel or gold plating. We advise against using a dishwasher for all three pieces.
