Baby Gift Set 925 Silver Duck – Baby Spoon and Rattle

In many families, a duck motif is considered a charming symbol of good luck that works regardless of the child's gender. The 925 silver duck baby gift set combines a baby spoon featuring a small duckling sculpture at the top of the handle with a rattle, the head of which is designed as a larger, three-dimensional duck—both pieces are made of 925 sterling silver, without enamel.

Material and workmanship

Both items are crafted from 925 sterling silver. The spoon features a small duckling figure at the top of the handle, while the handle itself is wavy in design, guiding the child's hand when gripping. The rattle displays a more elaborately crafted duck sculpture with head, wing, and tail details on an ornamental grip. The spoon comes from ArgentA's "Royal Childhood" line, the handle rattle from Zaramella in Italy; we put both together as a set for you. Meant as an example: on request, each of the pieces can also be combined with others from our range.

Occasions and target groups

The duckling motif is gender-neutral and is equally suitable for births, baptisms, and baby showers. As a godfather or godmother, you are giving a calm motif that is not restricted to blue or pink. For grandparents, the set is also a suitable gift for a first birthday.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The spoon can be engraved on the back of the handle—there is enough space for a name, date, or a short dedication. The rattle with the three-dimensional duck sculpture cannot be engraved due to its continuous shape. On request, we include a SilberVerse card free of charge: a verse created with the help of AI based on your details, as a 15 × 10 cm photo card in landscape format, in a standard frame.

Care

925 sterling silver develops a light patina over time, which can be quickly removed with a soft silver polishing cloth. Hand washing with mild dish soap is sufficient for both parts; we advise against using the dishwasher due to heat and aggressive detergents.

Frequently asked questions

Is the duck motif suitable for girls or boys?
For both. In many families, the duckling is one of the classic, gender-neutral symbols of luck for newborns.

What are the spoon and rattle meant for?
The spoon is for the first spoonfuls of purée when your child is ready, always under supervision. The rattle is for grasping, under parental supervision.

Why can the rattle not be engraved?
The duck sculpture is three-dimensionally designed and offers no flat surface for a clean engraving. For a personal touch, we offer the SilberVerse card instead.
