Baby rattle 925 silver duck — teething ring, solid

925 Sterling Silver Duck Baby Rattle: a seated duck in profile, with a beak, engraved feather lines on the wing, and a small dark eye as a color accent. The body is fully sculpted in silver, highly polished, with no further ornamentation. It sits as a pendant on a pearl-white acrylic ring – a gift for a birth.

925 Sterling Silver Duck Baby Rattle – familiar from every nursery

The duck sits sideways with its beak pointing forward, its wings indicated by fine engraved lines. Weighing around 15 g, it is a medium-weight piece in the series, with a total length of approximately 10.5 cm (with acrylic ring).

The motif: seated duck with engraved feather lines

Unlike the smooth animal bodies of the neighboring motifs, this duck features a delicate network of lines on its wing – the only structure on the otherwise reflective silver. The head and body remain rounded; no sharp edges hinder the grip.

The duck's eye accent

A small dark dot sits in the duck’s eye, standing out visibly from the polished silver. The exact material behind it cannot be determined with certainty from the image – we therefore deliberately describe it neutrally as a dark accent, without attributing it to a specific technique.

Ring shape, handle shape or acrylic ring – the choice for the duck

The duck hangs from the acrylic ring as a pendant for grasping and biting as soon as the first teeth come. If you are looking for a rattle without any teething ring, choose one that consists entirely of silver and fits well into small hands. If a name is to be engraved instead, the smooth handle of the handle-style model offers enough surface area.

Care of the duck rattle

When polishing the duck’s wing, it is worth taking a closer look at the fine feather lines: follow the direction of the lines with a soft silver cloth, avoiding the dark eye accent. The pearl-white acrylic ring should be wiped with a damp cloth. As with any baby toy, a watchful eye nearby is part of playing with this rattle.

Frequently asked questions about the duck with teething ring

Can the duck figurine be engraved?
No. The duck is fully three-dimensionally shaped; there is no smooth area for an engraving. Upon request, we offer the SilberVerse card free of charge instead: a verse created with the help of AI from your details about the occasion and name, printed as a 15 × 10 cm photo card in landscape format, in a standard frame.

How much does the duck rattle weigh?
Around 15 grams, with a total length of approximately 10.5 centimeters (pendant and acrylic ring).

What is the dark dot in the duck's eye made of?
The material cannot be determined with certainty from the image – we therefore describe it deliberately in a neutral way as a dark accent, without naming a technique.

Is the duck more of a boy's or a girl's gift?
Neither – the motif is designed to be gender-neutral, without any color or accessory that would define it.

How do I care for the fine feather lines on the wing?
It is best to polish them with a soft silver cloth in the direction of the lines, avoiding the dark eye accent.

Does the duck on the teething ring bear a hallmark?
The hallmark is there: the duck on the teething ring is hallmarked. The piece includes the maker's certificate card. If you would like to see photos before ordering, we're happy to send them to you.
