A Night Sky on the Handle

The sequence of motifs is not a random pattern but tells a story: moon, shooting star, stars — the image of the night in which a child sleeps. The gilding is not applied flatly, but highlights individual motifs. The moon and shooting star glow golden, while other stars remain silver.
