Description
An airplane flies through clouds, and the clouds are the engraving fields: This christening spoon made of 925 sterling silver combines the airplane motif with the classic birth data fields so that motif and function become one. At the upper end of the handle is the birth clock, below it a propeller plane ascends through the sky. It is suitable as a gender-neutral gift for a birth or christening. The airplane stands for adventure, freedom and big dreams.

Material and workmanship
At the tip of the handle is a round dial with the numbers 12, 3, 6, and 9; the hands are added as the birth time by diamond engraving. Directly below, a propeller plane rises, sculpturally with outstretched wings. The oxidized, matte background creates depth — the silver relief stands out brightly and gleamingly against it. The engraving fields are shaped like clouds: The first cloud bears the inscription "gr." for birth weight, the second "cm." for birth height. The oval spoon bowl is polished to a mirror finish.
Occasions and target groups
For birth, the classic moment — birth time, weight, height, and name are immortalized on the spoon. For christening, this birth spoon combines tradition with personal birth data and the airplane motif. For the first birthday, the data is still current and engravable even twelve months after birth. For families with wanderlust or a connection to aviation.
Engraving and SilberVerse Card
Four engraving fields are available: the birth time on the dial, the cloud field "gr." for weight, the cloud field "cm." for height, and on the back, first name and dedication — as diamond engraving, upon request. Since each field is engraved individually, please contact us before ordering. In addition, we offer a free, digitally designed SilberVerse card in photo format 15 × 10 cm (landscape format).
Care
After use, wash the spoon by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth. Important: The oxidized areas on the handle are intentional and part of the design — they should not be lightened with silver polish. The shiny bowl can be polished with a silver polishing cloth if necessary. Not suitable for dishwashers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is special about the cloud engraving fields?
The engraving fields are designed as clouds — part of the airplane scene. Birth weight and birth height are literally in the clouds through which the airplane flies.
What does the airplane motif mean?
The airplane symbolizes adventure, freedom, and big dreams — gender-neutral, suitable for boys and girls.
How do I care for the oxidized areas on the handle?
The dark areas are a deliberate oxidation that adds depth to the reliefs and should not be lightened with silver polish.
