Material and workmanship

At the tip of the handle sits a clock face with the numerals 12, 3, 6, and 9; the hands are intentionally missing and are added via engraving. Directly next to it sits a small, freshly hatched chick. In the center section, a sun shines with fine rays, balloons rise into the air, and a meadow is suggested below. In the lower handle area, there are two oval engraving fields for birth weight and birth height. The wide, oval spoon bowl is polished to a mirror finish.
