Material and Workmanship

The pendant features a standing boy with a cap holding a ball in front of him — a fully plastic, cast 3D silver figure with finely detailed features such as facial expressions, strands of hair, hands, and shoes. Crafted by the Italian silver manufacturer Zaramella. The pearl white acrylic ring complements the silver figure as both a grasping and teething aid. Together with the girl figure, this pendant forms the only figure pair in the collection — ideal as a gift for twins or as a set for siblings.

Use and Development

From approximately 3 months, the rattle serves as an object to grasp; from about 4 to 6 months, the acrylic ring additionally functions as a teething aid for the first teeth. At approx. 13 g, the pendant is light enough for baby hands and produces a gentle sound when swung. The boy motif symbolizes vigor and the joy of a new life — a deliberately non-neutral gift that clearly says: This is YOUR first piece.

Care
