Description
Finding a christening gift for a son, grandson, or godson with a clear, but not childishly plush, boyish coding often proves harder than expected. This three-piece sterling silver tableware set, made from 925 sterling silver, solves this with a classic heraldic coat of arms: the child's cup and spoon feature a blue escutcheon with a golden crown, while the oval handled plate remains purely polished and without a motif. In European heraldry, blue has always stood for loyalty and quiet steadfastness—a message fitting for a gift for life.

Material and Workmanship
The coat of arms is crafted as a small plaque of blue enamel with a gold-plated crown and firmly attached to the silver—the color remains stable for years, instead of fading like an applied layer of lacquer. The cup and spoon bear the same coat of arms plaque, while the plate remains completely polished and can be used flexibly as a serving piece. The ArgentA manufactory produces the enamel work in several steps before each piece is polished by hand.
Occasions and Target Groups
For a son's christening, the set is representative through the crown without being obtrusive—a gift that godfathers and grandparents gladly present when they are looking for clear, but timeless boyish coding. The set is also suitable for a birth as the first personal silver tableware, which later becomes festive tableware for birthdays and family celebrations. For families who wish to give a gift to a daughter as well, the same design is available with a red escutcheon as a girl's counterpart.
Engraving and SilberVerse Card
The back of the cup opposite the coat of arms, the back of the spoon handle, and the bottom of the plate can be engraved for a longer dedication; on request, an initial can even be incorporated into the escutcheon of the cup. For an engraving order, we include a personal SilberVerse card in photo format 15×10 cm landscape—currently free of charge, individually tailored to the occasion.
Care
Clean all three parts by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, dry with a soft cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher—heat and harsh detergents attack the blue enamel and the gilding. For the polished silver surfaces, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient; avoid the coat of arms and crown. The plate without a motif can be completely polished.
