925 sterling silver children's plate with teddy bear rim and ball — engravable

At the edge of this 925 sterling silver plate sits a small bear holding a ball in its paws—a figure in motion rather than a still pose. The Children's Plate 925 Silver Bear with Ball belongs to the more playful of the two teddy-edge variants and, together with the matching bowl, forms a pair that can also be gifted as a bundled set.

Children's Plate 925 Silver Bear with Ball — a detail in motion

The figure on the edge cradles the ball with both paws and turns its body slightly to the side—a bear that plays, not a bear that just stands there. Unlike the calmer teddy-edge variant without a ball, this motif carries a small narrative of movement and discovery, fitting for a child who is always on the move themselves.

Shape and dimensions

With a diameter of approx. 19 cm and a weight of approx. 185 g, the plate is generously dimensioned—plenty of surface area for vegetables, pasta, or fruit slices, for toddlers and kindergarten children alike. Highly polished all around, without enamel, crafted by Zaramella in Italy.

This plate and its siblings at the table

Combined with the matching Children's Bowl 925 Silver Bear with Ball, the plate forms a small dinnerware set. Both together also make up the Children's Dinnerware Set 925 Silver Bear with Ball. For the calmer variant without a ball, the Children's Plate Teddy-Edge without Ball is available. Other motifs from the bear world can be seen in our Teddy Bear Collection overview.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Where the figure is not sitting, there is enough smooth surface left for an engraving with a name, date, or a short dedication—bookable via the Engraving Service Fee; we will determine the text and placement in advance. Upon request, a SilberVerse card can be added: a verse written specifically for the occasion, in 15 × 10 cm format, at no extra cost.

Care

Clean the plate under running water with a little dish soap and dry it carefully afterwards with a soft cloth. A silver polishing cloth will make the bear and ball shine again—it is best to use a light touch to ensure the details retain their depth. It is not suitable for the dishwasher.
