Material and Craftsmanship

The round plaque on the spoon handle features a guardian angel in half-relief on blue enamel on the front, and on the back, the Church Slavonic inscription "Ангелъ за трапезой незримо предстой" — meaning "Angel, be invisibly present at the meal" in German. The spoon handle bears a continuous vine ornament, while the bowl remains smoothly polished on the inside. The cross pendant is ecclesiastically consecrated, and the accompanying consecration certificate bears the baptismal prayer from Matthew 11:28–30. The set is manufactured by ArgentA.
