Child's spoon 925 silver Heart Bear gold-plated

In gold instead of silver: This children's spoon features the same seated teddy bear with bow tie and heart as the simpler version, but here with gold-plated appliqués — more festive for a christening.

• Handle motif: seated teddy bear with bow tie
• Heart reliefs along the stem
• Individual weight: approx. 31 g

Material and craftsmanship

The same little teddy bear with bow tie as the silver version sits at the end of the handle here as well, fully gold-plated, along with the heart beneath it and the tiny hearts on the stem. The spoon itself is crafted from 925 sterling silver, with the gold plating limited to the appliqués.

Motif and meaning

There is a sense of security in this seated bear with a bow tie, and affection in the heart beside it — two familiar images for a child’s early days, here additionally emphasized in a festive way by the gold plating.

Occasions and target groups

This spoon is especially suitable for a christening or as a festive gift for a birth. The simpler silver version is available as the Heart Bear children's spoon, and the matching gold-plated fork is available individually; both are also offered together as a gold-plated set. Those who wish to mark a christening with particular ceremony often choose the golden version over the plain silver one.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Since the bear and hearts on this spoon are gold-plated, ArgentA personally inspects the piece before any engraving to ensure the finish remains untouched. You can order the engraving as usual via our engraving service flat rate, and we will coordinate the appropriate text with you afterward. Would you prefer a ready-made line? Our complimentary SilberVerse card is available upon request; it measures 15 × 10 centimeters and features a line written especially for you.

Care

Cleaned by hand with a soft cloth, the spoon will remain beautiful for a long time; a silver polishing cloth helps maintain its shine. You should avoid the dishwasher because of the gold plating, as heat and harsh detergents can damage the gold.
