Cup with gold-outlined star
Description
The cup with the gold-outlined star is the centrepiece of this christening gift: fine children's cutlery in 925 silver with a cup, spoon and fork. The cup, spoon and fork are engravable, and the gift box is included. Matching pieces are gathered in our children's cutlery in silver.

Children's cutlery in silver for a christening is a gift that outlasts the day. This set brings together everything for a child's first place of their own at the table: a small cup, a spoon and a fork in the same design. If you would rather give a set of cup and spoon, take a look at the christening set with partially gold-plated stars. For more ideas, read the article Personalised christening gifts.
The cup with a star in a golden outline
The cup is smooth and polished to a high shine. On the front sits a raised star with a gold-plated outline and a gold-plated crown inside. A small silver star stands at each of two of the star's points, while the surface of the star itself remains silver. It holds 150 ml.
The single handle bears a scroll and leaf ornament and ends in two volutes. The cup and cutlery are polished by hand to a mirror shine.
On the handle of the spoon and fork is a gold-plated crown, below it a star in silver with small golden stars. Raised gold-plated stars follow along the handle, and the fork has four rounded tines. At ArgentA, the crown is the hallmark of Royal Childhood.
Engraving on the cup, spoon and fork
The cup can be engraved on the back, opposite the star, with up to 20 characters. The spoon and fork carry their name on the back, also with up to 20 characters. The gold-plated parts on the front remain untouched.
For each engraving, one engraving service goes into your cart with the item. The engraving text is whatever you write in the order note at checkout. After your order, we check whether it can be carried out, and if it cannot, we refund the flat fee.
You also receive a SilberVerse free of charge on request: a verse for the christening day, created individually for the occasion and name, on a photo card measuring 15 × 10 cm.
Care for the cup and cutlery
Rinse the cup and cutlery in lukewarm water, then rub them dry with a soft cloth. A silver polishing cloth does no harm: polish the silver as usual and go gently over the outline, crown and stars.
Questions about the cup and cutlery
Can silver cutlery for children go in the dishwasher?
No. The gold plating tolerates neither heat nor harsh detergents, and the cup is treated just like the cutlery: rinse briefly and dry carefully.
What is included in the set, and how does it differ from the set with a knife?
It includes the cup, spoon and fork. The set with knife comes with a knife instead of the cup, with a handle in 925 silver and a blade in stainless steel.
Which occasion suits the set with cup?
It is intended as a christening gift and suits a birth or the first birthday just as well. The star and crown on the cup and cutlery belong together.
