Baby spoon 925 silver Teddy Silhouette — curved, engravable

Instead of being straight, this baby spoon made of 925 sterling silver features a gentle S-shape designed to make feeding easier. At the bottom of the handle sits a small, flat bear contour — the same motif that adorns the rattles of the Teddy Silhouette family.

Material and Craftsmanship

The oval bowl is polished to a mirror finish, with the handle tapering into a continuous curve below it. At the end of the handle, where the shape narrows, the small flat bear contour sits as a relief. Zaramella of Italy produces the spoon under the model name “New Bear” (item 6201-OR).

Usage

The curved shape is intended to make guiding the spoon easier during feeding, especially in the first few months when parents are holding the spoon themselves. Later, when the child begins to eat on their own, the spoon remains in daily use as a teaspoon or is kept as a memento in the cupboard.

Engraving and SilberVerse Card

The spoon can be engraved; it is customary to have the name and date of birth on the back of the handle. To add an engraving, add the engraving service fee to your cart along with the spoon, and the exact wording will be coordinated between us afterwards. Those who would also like a free card can request the SilberVerse card: 3–4 lines of verse for the name and occasion, in whatever language you prefer, as a 15 × 10 cm photo card. Standard frames in silver, white or black are available. Further details can be found on our page About SilberVerse.

The Teddy Silhouette Family

Matching the spoon is the Teddy Silhouette baby rattle, smooth handle style, engravable, featuring the same outline on a smooth handle. For the teething period, the same silhouette is also available as the Teddy Silhouette baby rattle, teething ring, engravable. For a fully sculpted rather than flat bear figure, it is worth looking at the Sitting Teddy family, also part of the 925 Silver Baby Rattles collection. Together with the smooth-handled rattle, this spoon is available in the Personalized Teddy Silhouette Baptism Set.

Care

The easiest way to clean the spoon is to rinse it immediately after use with a little mild detergent in warm water. For engravings, use a silver polishing cloth with light pressure to ensure the lettering remains legible. It is best to keep the piece out of the dishwasher.
