Material and workmanship
The spoon handle is crafted with an openwork ornament pattern and features a round angel medallion with gilding on the handle. Both pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and have been refined with enamel and selective gilding. The Royal Childhood line is manufactured by ArgentA.
Occasions and target groups
This set is suitable as a baptism gift for a boy, and also as a birth gift or a godparent gift. Those looking for a particularly festive, symbolic present for a baptism will find a harmonious choice in the combination of a decorated spoon and a guardian angel icon – often given by grandparents or godparents who wish to give the child blessings and security on their journey.
Care
Spoon and icon are cleaned by hand with warm water and mild dish soap and wiped dry with a soft cloth. The dishwasher should be avoided, as heat and harsh detergents can damage the gilding and delicate ornaments. The enamel surfaces of the icon are best wiped gently with a damp, soft cloth only.
