Honey jar set 3-piece 925 silver and crystal glass casting

This honey pot made of 925 sterling silver and crystal glass brings a touch of classic silverware to the breakfast or coffee table. The glass insert displays the honey clearly and purely, while the solid silver of the lid and tray gives the set its weight and composure — visible in the dense relief border that connects the tray and the pot lid.

At a glance

• Material: 925 sterling silver, crystal glass
• Serving tray: 16.5 x 16.5 cm
• Honey pot: Diameter approx. 9 cm
• Weight: approx. 480 grams
• Country of manufacture: Italy
• Scope of delivery: 1x serving tray, 1x honey pot with lid, 1x silver spoon, 1x gift packaging

Striking about this model is the dense, three-dimensional relief work on the edge of the tray — an intricate rocaille pattern that transitions into two implied handle extensions at the sides. The domed silver lid of the pot features the same vine motif at the base and is finished with a small conical knob as a handle. A slender silver spoon hangs at the side of the lid and rests ready to hand next to the crystal glass insert. At 480 grams, this is the heaviest of the three honey pot sets in this series — the denser relief adds noticeably more silver.

Usage and occasions

For hosts who enjoy maintaining a fully set breakfast or tea arrangement, this set is a functional addition to existing silverware. As a gift for a wedding or housewarming, it appears generous without being intrusive — a piece that remains in daily use for years and does not disappear into a display cabinet. It also works well as a complement to an existing silver service or as a standalone gift for a milestone birthday, especially if the recipient values denser, classic ornamentation.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Upon review, the serving tray or the silver spoon can be engraved — for example, with initials or a date. We will discuss details regarding font, content, and position before execution. Upon request, we can also include a personal SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm landscape) — individually designed to suit the occasion and free of charge, also available to order without an engraving.

Care

Wipe silver parts dry after use; do not put in the dishwasher. The crystal glass insert can be removed from the silver setting and washed separately. A soft silver polishing cloth helps against light tarnishing — abrasive sponges or aggressive cleaners should be avoided. A dry place is suitable for storage, ideally with an anti-tarnish strip nearby.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this set heavier than other honey pot models?

The tray edge features a denser, more three-dimensional relief pattern with implied handle extensions. Consequently, this model weighs around 480 grams, more than the slimmer variants in the series.

Can I clean the glass insert separately?

Yes, the honey pot is a removable crystal glass insert that can be washed independently of the silver setting.

Is an engraving possible?

Yes, upon verification on the serving tray or the silver spoon. We will coordinate the content and position with you before the order.
