Material and craftsmanship

The bowls are made of solid 925 sterling silver and feature a floral niello ornament: a floral medallion, hand-engraved into the silver surface and filled with the dark niello alloy. After melting, the surface is polished until the niello is flush with the polished silver — it is not a coating or a layer of paint, but a motif that permanently remains part of the metal. The small caviar spoon complements the set and is matched to the shared design. All pieces are hallmarked.

Usage and occasions

The outer bowl is filled with ice, and the inner caviar bowl sits inside it — ideal for serving caviar or other fine appetizers on festive tables. This set is suitable as a wedding gift, an anniversary present, or for collectors of fine silverware who appreciate a piece with floral hand-engraved niello and Russian silver tradition.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Individual engraving is possible upon review, for example, a monogram or a date. Please contact us before placing your order so that we can coordinate the placement and execution together. If you wish, you can also complement the gift with a personal SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm landscape) — individually designed and free of charge.

Care

Clean by hand with mild detergent and a soft cloth — do not place in the dishwasher. The niello decoration is resistant to normal care; regular, careful polishing will maintain the contrast of the ornamentation for years.
