Material and craftsmanship

The swan is made entirely of 925 sterling silver. Its neck curves forward in an elegant arch, the head wears a gold-plated crown with a blue stone, and the beak is also gold-plated. The wing edges feature openwork—a delicate pattern of vines and blossoms through which one can see. This silver lace lends the wings a lightness that gives the swan its grace.

The body is adorned with hand-engraved niello: floral medallions on the sides, dense vine ornaments on the belly, and gilded contours that add depth to the blossoms.
