At a glance
- Set: 24 pieces for 6 people
- Material: 925 sterling silver
- Decoration: Niello ornamentation with dove motif
- Origin: Russia
- Packaging: Gift box
Material and workmanship
The set is made entirely of 925 sterling silver, with each of the 24 pieces featuring the same niello ornamentation with a dove motif—fine, dark lines fused with the silver rather than applied as a print or coating. For a complete 24-piece set, achieving consistency across all pieces is a challenge in itself: all six knives, all six forks, all six spoons, and all six teaspoons must harmonize in their ornamentation—not with industrial uniformity, but with artisanal coherence.
Usage and occasions
A set of this magnitude is intended for the grand dining table—as a gift for a bride and groom at weddings, for anniversaries, for Christmas with the whole family, or for festive family dinners that occur throughout the year. Unlike smaller sets, a 24-piece table service is rarely an impulse purchase; rather, it is a deliberate decision to invest in a comprehensive dining set that remains in use over many years and across multiple occasions.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Custom engraving is possible subject to review—a wonderful way to add a personal touch to the set, especially for weddings or anniversaries. Upon request, we can include a complimentary 15 × 10 cm landscape-format SilberVerse card with your order, individually designed with your personal message.
Care
Clean the cutlery by hand after each use with a soft cloth to preserve the niello ornamentation and the luster of the silver. Use a silver polishing cloth if necessary to remove any tarnish, and store all pieces in a dry place in the included gift box.
Frequently asked questions
