Material and workmanship
The Merchant collection combines classic ornamentation with clear, modern lines. The handles feature a continuous floral engraving pattern that repeats in the same design language across all 24 pieces – from the dinner spoon to the smallest teaspoon. 925 sterling silver guarantees the longevity typical of fine silverware: with proper care, it retains its luster for many years and, over time, becomes a familiar part of one's own dining culture.
Usage and occasions
A complete 24-piece set for six people is rarely an accidental purchase – it accompanies moments that recur in family life. For a wedding, it is the silverware that begins a shared household. For an anniversary or a silver wedding anniversary, it marks a significant milestone; at Christmas, it is a gift for all those who value a shared table. And as an heirloom, a 925 silver set will eventually be passed on to the next generation – with its own story carried on in the handles.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Engraving with names, initials, or a date is possible on selected pieces of the set upon review – simply contact us, and we will advise you on the suitable surfaces. Upon request, we can also include a 15×10 cm SilberVerse card, a personalized photo with your text, free of charge. Simply note your request in the order field.
Care
- Hand wash with warm water and mild detergent, then dry immediately
- Do not put in the dishwasher – this best preserves the ornaments and the shine
- Use a soft silver polishing cloth for regular refreshing of the luster
- Store in a dry place and avoid contact with acid or harsh cleaners
- Storage in the included gift box protects against tarnishing
