Material and craftsmanship

Each of the 24 handles in the Forget set bears the floral niello pattern on both the front and back — a sign of meticulous craftsmanship often missing in simpler cutlery. The black niello enamel is hand-applied into the engraved lines and polished, ensuring the contrast and legibility of the pattern remain intact even with frequent use. Beyond its visual appeal, the set is characterized by a balanced weight distribution, which ensures a pleasant feel while dining.

Usage and occasions

With 24 pieces for six people, the Forget set is perfect for anniversaries, weddings, and family celebrations, as well as for everyday dining for a larger table. The plain silver look, without gilding, is understated and elegant, and complements most dinnerware styles — whether for a festive occasion with flowers and champagne or a quiet family meal.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Individual engraving is possible upon request, such as initials or a date on the handles. We will coordinate with you and the manufacturer to determine which surface is suitable without compromising the double-sided hand-engraved niello. Upon request, we will also include a complimentary 15 × 10 cm landscape format SilberVerse card, custom-designed for you.

Care

Clean the set by hand with warm water and a mild detergent. You should avoid the dishwasher, as chemicals can damage the silver and the niello engraving over time. For occasional polishing, a special silver polishing cloth is recommended. Store the pieces in the included gift box between uses.
