Material and craftsmanship
For these stemmed glasses, "Harmonie" (Harmony) is more than just a collection name – it is the design principle. The niello ornaments are evenly distributed across the upper bowl, the gold plating highlights the rim and base in a balanced ratio, and the proportions between the foot, stem, and bowl are perfectly harmonized. The gold-plated silver forms the warm base tone, while the fine niello lines featuring a floral rose motif provide a dark contrast. Under candlelight, the interplay of these surfaces changes, making the goblets appear as if they come from another era.
Usage and occasions
Two goblets, two people: A set of stemmed glasses is among the most classic of all wedding gifts, with a tradition that goes back a long way. This set is just as suitable for a silver wedding anniversary, a jubilee, or as a Christmas gift for a couple as it is for the wedding itself. With a capacity of 175 ml, the glasses are particularly suitable for aperitif portions, dessert wine, or liqueur, and thanks to the gold plating on the inside, they are also perfect for fuller-bodied wines.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
These goblets are suitable for a personal engraving – such as a date, initials, or a short message. Please contact us with your request before placing your order, and we will check the possibilities for this set. Upon request, we can also include a SilberVerse card in 15×10 cm photo format – individually designed to suit the occasion and free of charge.
Care
- After use, dry immediately with a soft cloth, especially on the inside, as liquids can otherwise attack the silver
- The gold-plated interior surfaces further slow down this process
- Use a mild silver cleaner for regular refreshing
- Dishwashers are generally not suitable for silver tableware
Frequently asked questions
Are the goblets suitable for red wine or only for white wine?
Both are possible – thanks to the gold plating on the inside, the glasses are also suitable for tannin-rich red wines. The capacity of 175 ml is particularly well-suited for aperitif portions or dessert wines.
Can I request a date engraving for a wedding?
Yes, please contact us with your request before ordering, and we will advise you on the possibilities for engraving this set.
Is the set only available as a pair or also individually?
The set is offered exclusively as a two-piece pair – the name Harmonie refers precisely to this togetherness of the two glasses.
