Drinking glass set 925 silver – Tsar's Feast Niello and Gilding

There are moments that demand more than an ordinary glass — a digestif after a long conversation, champagne for an anniversary, or vodka to celebrate a success. The 925 silver stemware set from the Zaren Fest collection is designed for exactly these moments. Four stemware glasses of different sizes and a matching silver tray combine solid sterling silver, gilding, and fine niello ornamentation into an ensemble that looks as if it had always belonged to a table that has something to celebrate.

Material and Craftsmanship

Each of the four glasses is made of 925 sterling silver and features niello ornamentation — an ancient technique in which a dark silver alloy is fired into fine engravings, leaving behind deep black lines. Over this dark decoration lie gilded ornamental bands and floral motifs that catch the light warmly and give the glasses spatial depth. The inner surfaces are gilded, making each glass both decorative and perfectly suitable for drinks.

The silver tray echoes the same design language: a gilded central zone with a medallion, enclosed by niello borders and a curved, multi-scalloped edge. In this way, the four glasses and the tray form not a random assortment, but a cohesive ensemble from a single source. The set is hallmarked.

Use and Occasions

The four different glass sizes are not a coincidence, but a deliberate gradation for different beverages: the large stemware glass for wine or water, the medium one for champagne or cocktails, the liqueur glass for fine liqueurs, and the compact shot glass for vodka or other spirits. Arranged together on the tray, the set becomes an eye-catcher in a fireside room, at a home bar, or on a prestigious side table.

As a gift, the Zaren Fest set is particularly suitable for corporate anniversaries, outstanding business successes, weddings, or as a gesture of welcome during a significant visit. It is a gift that makes appreciation visible without needing a word to express it.

Engraving and SilberVerse Card

Upon request, an individual engraving can be arranged with the workshop to ensure that the lettering and niello decoration harmonize perfectly. In addition, you can include a SilberVerse card with the set — a digitally designed card in 15 × 10 cm landscape format, created uniquely for your occasion. It gives the gift a personal, lasting touch.

Care

To ensure the gilding and niello ornamentation retain their depth, you should clean the glasses and tray exclusively by hand. Lukewarm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft cloth are sufficient; it is better to avoid abrasive cleaners and rough sponges entirely. A high-quality silver polishing cloth is suitable for maintaining the shine of the silver. Store the set in a dust-free environment if possible, such as in a display case where it can be admired without being handled constantly.
