Material and workmanship

The centerpiece of the set is the 925 sterling silver hip flask with a black grouse motif in niello hand-engraving — the black grouse is one of the best-known motifs of the Russian forest hunt. In addition, there are three round silver plates with cross-partitioning, which allow several dishes to be arranged on one plate at the same time, as well as three schnapps glasses, three menu spoons and three menu forks made of 925 silver. A hunting knife with a wooden handle and matching additional tools complete the set, along with three high-quality cloth napkins. The niello engraving on the hip flask is created by a black inlay that is melted into the engraved lines in an open flame, planished, and polished, and then remains permanently bonded to the silver. The set is manufactured by SevChern in Veliky Ustyug.

The case is deliberately not a nostalgic hunting case, but visually follows a simple business case: matte black in leather-look, silver corner fittings, two number combination locks on the side edges and a sturdy carrying handle. Care

Rinse the silver parts with warm water after use and dry with a soft silver polishing cloth; do not use a dishwasher. Wipe the leather-look case with a slightly damp cloth if necessary.
