Crystal glass and silver — why this combination is unique

The Podstakannik — the metal teaglass holder — is a Russian invention with a history dating back to the 18th century. The glass stays hot, the holder protects the hand, and the metal becomes a stage for ornaments. In the artisanal tradition of SevChern, niello engravings bring the silver to life with black lines and add gold plating as a warm accent.

What distinguishes this set from an ordinary cup: The crystal glass showcases the tea — its color, its infusion, its steam. The silver holder frames this image. This is a different experience than ceramics or porcelain. It is transparent presence on the table.

The Sieger Collection — Ornamentation between Strength and Elegance

“Sieger” is no accidental name.
