Description
Some items are made for the grand occasion, others for an intimate tête-à-tête. This Turkish coffee pot in 925 sterling silver belongs to the latter category. The Rosata cezve holds exactly what two people need: two Turkish coffee cups and a leisurely morning together. Its name comes from the Latin rosata, meaning rose-colored and blooming, and reflects the main motif: a stylized floral rosette unfolding across the upper half of the belly, engraved in silver without any color inlay.

Material and craftsmanship
The Rosata follows the classic amphora silhouette: wide in the middle and narrowing towards the top and bottom, with a rounded foot ring and an elegant silver spout. The narrow neck concentrates the foam. In the Pur engraving, the ornament is cut directly into the silver—silver on silver, without inlay. The result is fine and subtle, especially visible in the light: depending on the angle, the contours of the floral rosette dance across the silver surface. The long beechwood handle, with a silver sleeve at the joint, protects the hand from the heat and provides a secure grip when the pot is swung over the flame.
Use and occasions
The Rosata is designed for an intimate tête-à-tête, not for large gatherings. 200 ml is enough for one or two Turkish coffee cups of 60–70 ml each—in Turkish, a pot of this size is also called a “2-lük,” or a pot for two. Suitable heat sources include gas flames, ceramic hobs, and hot sand; it is not suitable for induction hobs, as 925 silver is not ferromagnetic. The Rosata makes an ideal gift for occasions where intimacy and style come together: engagements, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or milestone birthdays.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Personalized engraving on the Rosata cezve is available subject to inspection of the item. You can add the flat-rate engraving service directly to your shopping cart; we will then agree with you on the wording and placement. If engraving is not possible, we will refund the flat rate. Upon request, we will include a personalized SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm, landscape)—individually designed, suited to the occasion, and free of charge.
Care
After use, clean with lukewarm water and mild dishwashing liquid, dry with a soft cloth, and do not use in a dishwasher. Keep the wooden handle dry; do not soak it, wipe it briefly, and dry it immediately. If necessary, sparingly treat it with walnut oil. Over time, the silver will develop a light patina, which can be removed at any time with a silver polishing cloth. This is an effect of the Pur engraving: polishing does not wear away the engraved lines but makes them more clearly visible.
Frequently asked questions
How many cups does the 200-ml Rosata cezve serve?
1 to 2 Turkish coffee cups of 60–70 ml each. In Turkish, a 200-ml cezve is also called a “2-lük”—the pot for two.
What is the difference between Pur engraving and niello?
With Pur engraving, the ornament remains in silver, monochrome and understated. Niello fills the engraved recesses with a black silver-sulfur alloy, creating a strong light-dark contrast. Both techniques have their own character.
Can I use the Rosata cezve on an induction hob?
No. 925 sterling silver is not a ferromagnetic material. It is suitable for gas, ceramic hobs, and electric burners.
