Material and craftsmanship

The conical cezve silhouette has been physically tailored to Turkish coffee since the 16th century: the wide base absorbs maximum heat and distributes it evenly, the narrow neck concentrates the foam crown, and the elegant spout pours the foam cleanly into the cup. The horizontally mounted beechwood long handle with a silver sleeve protects the hand from the heat of the silver, which conducts heat extremely quickly. The Pur version leaves the engraved lines open—silver on silver without filling, a line relief that only becomes visible in the light and up close. Care

Wash by hand with warm water, a soft brush, and mild dish soap. Silver can tarnish slightly due to airborne sulfur; a silver polishing cloth wipes it away, and the engraved lines become even more visible when polished. Never immerse the beechwood long handle in water; only wipe it with a damp cloth, keep it dry, and occasionally treat it lightly with walnut oil. Not dishwasher safe.
