Material and workmanship
The outer bowl is made of solid 925 sterling silver, high-polished and decorated with a floral niello ornament band — a black inlay that is melted by hand into the engraved lines, ground flush, and polished, like ink in silver, creating a permanent, velvety contrast to the polished silver. The inner caviar bowl is fully gold-plated: this protects the delicate taste of the caviar from any metallic influence and makes the dark pearls look particularly elegant against the golden background.

The 2-piece system is designed for ice: the outer bowl is filled with ice, and the inner, gold-plated caviar bowl sits within it. Clean by hand only, using mild detergent and a soft cloth — no scouring agents, no dishwasher. Silver and niello respond best to gentle care: this preserves the shine for years, and the niello ornament gains more contrast rather than fading when polished carefully.
