Children's Cup Sterling Silver Girl with Braid and Baseball Cap

Not every christening gift has to rely on classic motifs. With this children’s cup made of 925 sterling silver, the handle itself takes on the role of the motif: a detailed embossed girl figure with a ponytail and baseball cap, nestled against the side of the cup. A modern, charming detail that gives the classic christening cup a very unique, personal touch.

For godparents looking for a gift with a recognizable character instead of a purely classic motif, this girl figure is often the deciding factor. Grandparents appreciate that, despite the playful detail, this cup remains a high-quality, lasting piece of silver. And parents looking for a gift for a christening, birth, or first birthday that stands out will find a motif here that doesn't look like every other christening cup.

Material and workmanship

The cup is made of 925 sterling silver with a brilliantly polished surface, giving the piece an elegant, timeless effect. At first glance, it looks simple – it is only the handle that reveals the true detail: the girl figure with a ponytail and baseball cap is sculpted and carefully crafted, down to the textured clothing. The shape of the cup opens slightly in a trumpet shape toward the top, so that the figure at the base of the handle is shown to its best advantage.

Occasions and target groups

This children’s cup is suitable as a gift for a christening, birth, or first birthday – wherever a modern motif is a welcome alternative to classic christening cups. The girl motif makes it a characterful choice for goddaughters, granddaughters, or daughters of friends. It looks especially lovely in combination with a matching baby spoon or a silver rattle as a small gift set.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The cup can be engraved with the child's name or a birth or christening date. This turns the silver gift into a personal keepsake that will be treasured for many years. On request, we include a free 15 × 10 cm landscape SilberVerse card with your order: a digitally designed unique photo card with a personal text about the occasion and the child.

Care

925 sterling silver is durable. After use, lukewarm water with a mild dish soap is sufficient, then dry with a soft cloth. If a light patina appears over time, a silver polishing cloth used without pressure will help – when cleaning the girl figure on the handle, it is best to work carefully into the grooves of the embossing without scrubbing. The cup is not dishwasher safe and should not come into contact with aggressive cleaning agents.
