Children's Cup Campana 925 Silver — Trumpet-shaped, 100 ml

A christening cup can certainly have a ceremonial presence. The Campana children's cup in 925 sterling silver features a trumpet or bell shape with a clearly flared top rim and a distinct base – "Campana" is Italian for bell, and the silhouette is indeed reminiscent of a small silver handbell. It does not carry a motif, but instead a shape that is inherently festive.

For godparents looking for a piece of silver with a ceremonial character, the bell shape brings its own touch of festivity. Grandparents like to think of the Campana as a small trophy for the first years – the flared opening is reminiscent of a miniature chalice. And parents who want a cup that develops a unique presence at the ceremony or later on a shelf will find exactly that here: festive without appearing ostentatious.

Material and craftsmanship

The Campana is made of solid 925 sterling silver and is high-gloss polished inside and out. The silhouette begins at the bottom on a clearly defined base, rises in a slender, bulbous shape, and opens upwards in a trumpet style – the rim is noticeably flared, like a small trophy. The handle remains deliberately simple: a smooth C-curve without ornaments, which remains subordinate to the strong shape. At approx. 75 g, the Campana is the lightest cup in its collection without losing any presence – the trumpet shape requires less material than a cylinder for the same volume. It is crafted by ZARAMELLA in Italy.

Occasions and target groups

The Campana is the most festively designed silver christening cup among the unadorned models – its shape is particularly suitable for ceremonial occasions such as a christening, birth, or first birthday, as well as for a name day or the first tooth. It is popular with families who value ritualized moments: the engraved bell cup on the christening table, which is brought out again for every birthday later on. Since neither color nor shape dictates a particular direction, it is equally suitable for girls and boys.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The smooth surface is entirely available for engraving – the outward-curving upper part is particularly suitable for dedications that follow the arc of the silhouette. Names, birth dates, christening dates, a monogram, or a short christening blessing can be festively implemented here in a curved script. The engraving is carried out after a brief coordination regarding placement, font, and text length. Upon request, we will include a free 15 x 10 cm landscape format SilberVerse card with your order: a digitally designed, unique photo card with a personal text regarding the occasion and the child.

Care

925 sterling silver is durable. After use, lukewarm water with a mild detergent is sufficient, followed by drying with a soft cloth. If a light patina forms over time, a silver polishing cloth helps – just use it without applying pressure, and the flared upper rim can be freshened up particularly quickly. The cup is not dishwasher safe and should not come into contact with silver dips or aggressive cleaning agents. Between occasions, it is best to keep it in its gift box or a velvet pouch.
