Description
Not every gift needs to be large to mean a lot — sometimes a small cup with a motif that strikes just the right mood is enough. The 925 Sterling Silver Cloud Teddy children's cup is kept compact and cylindrical, featuring a curved handle and the same reclining teddy in a cloud patch that also adorns the larger baby cup in this line. A quiet, warm expression rather than a loud statement.
For a Christening
A small bear for their very first sips
Compact, with one handle and a 100 ml capacity — designed for the hand of a child who is just beginning to drink on their own.
View christening gifts925 Sterling Silver Cloud Teddy children's cup — the same bear, told on a smaller scale
On the front, the teddy lies curled up in its cloud patch, just like on the large baby cup in this line — only on a smaller surface because the cup is altogether more restrained in size. The pose remains the same: head and paws forward, ears tucked, an image of sleep, not play.
Shape and handle: cylindrical with a scroll ornament
The cup is straight and cylindrical in design, with a slightly flared rim for a stable base. The single handle features a small scroll ornament at the top and bottom — a subtle contrast to the otherwise simple shape. With a 100 ml capacity and a weight of approx. 60 g, it is perfectly suited to a child's size. It is crafted by Zaramella in Italy.
This cup and its counterparts at the table
If you are looking for a larger cup with two handles, you will find the 925 Sterling Silver Cloud Teddy baby cup featuring the same motif. Both pieces can also be given together: this exact cup is already included in the gift set with a curved spoon. If you are instead looking for plates and bowls with a bear motif, you will find what you are looking for in the Teddy Bear collection.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
A name, christening date, or short sentence can be placed on the smooth back. We will discuss placement and text with you as soon as you order the engraving service flat fee. Additionally, upon request, we will create a SilberVerse card for you — a verse written specifically for this occasion, in a 15 × 10 cm format — at no extra charge.
Care
A damp cloth with a little mild dish soap is sufficient for the cup; then, dry it well. If the silver tarnishes slightly over time, polish it carefully with a silver polishing cloth — the scroll ornament on the handle handles this well too. This cup is not dishwasher safe.
