Material and workmanship

The fork is made of solid 925 sterling silver. At the top of the handle sits the same little teddy as on the matching spoon, with a heart below it and small embossed hearts along the stem; the tines are short and rounded, suitable for children, and thus sit comfortably in small hands.

Motif and meaning

The bow tie instead of a crown turns this sitting bear into a little gentleman and represents comfort; the heart next to it reminds one of the affection a child experiences from the very beginning — the same image that the matching spoon carries, so that both make a great pair when given as separate gifts.
