Child's spoon 925 silver Heart Bear gold-plated

In gold instead of silver: This children's spoon features the same seated teddy bear with a bow tie and heart as the simpler version, but with gold-plated appliqués—more festive for a christening.

At a glance

• Gold-plated appliqués on 925 sterling silver
• Handle motif: seated teddy bear with a bow tie
• Heart reliefs along the handle
• Individual weight: approx. 31 g
• Includes: the spoon in an elegant gift box, ready to give as a gift

Material and craftsmanship

The same little teddy bear with a bow tie as the silver version is also seated at the end of the handle, here completely gold-plated, as is the heart beneath it and the tiny hearts on the handle. The spoon itself is crafted from 925 sterling silver, while the gold plating is limited to the appliqués.

Motif and meaning

The seated bear with a bow tie represents security, while the heart next to it symbolizes affection—two familiar images for a child's early days, here further enhanced by the gold plating for a festive touch.

Occasions and target audience

This spoon is particularly well suited for a christening or as a festive gift for a birth. The simpler silver version is available as the Heart Bear Children's Spoon, with the matching gold-plated fork available separately or both together in the gold-plated set. Those who wish to celebrate a christening with particular solemnity will gladly choose the golden version instead of the simple silver one.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The bear and hearts on this spoon are gold-plated, so the engraving is done on the smooth silver back of the handle; the motif and gold plating remain untouched. The engraving can be ordered as usual via our flat-rate engraving service, and we will agree on the appropriate text together afterwards. If you would prefer a ready-made verse, our complimentary SilberVerse card is available upon request, measuring 15 × 10 centimeters and featuring three to four lines written especially for you.

Care

It is best to clean by hand with a soft cloth; a silver polishing cloth can also be used. You should avoid the dishwasher because of the gold plating, as heat and harsh detergents can damage the gold.
