This three-piece sterling silver set with a teddy bear motif is intended as a gift that should be both heartfelt and valuable, without a childish-colorful plastic look. The child's mug and child's spoon feature a bear with a white baker's hat, a hint of honey pot color, and a small golden crown above its head, executed in brown and yellow enamel on 925 sterling silver. The oval handled plate remains deliberately polished clean, without a motif, thus forming a calm counterpart to the two enamel pieces.

Material and workmanship

The bear's enamel is firmly bonded to the silver and therefore significantly more durable than an applied lacquer layer – it retains its color depth even after years of use. The same small bear plaque is on the belly of the mug and the top of the spoon handle; the plate remains completely polished and without color accent, so it can be flexibly used as a serving piece. The ArgentA manufactory applies enamel and gilding in several fine steps before the pieces are polished and packaged.

The set is suitable as a first dinnerware for birth, as a classic godparent gift for christenings, and for the first birthday when the spoon and mug come into daily use. Because the teddy bear is considered a gender-neutral motif, the set is equally suitable for a daughter or a son - for parents, grandparents, and godparents looking for a warm but not gender-coded gift. Care

Clean all three parts by hand with warm water and mild detergent, dry with a soft cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher - heat and harsh detergents attack enamel and gilding. For the polished silver surfaces, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient, but avoid the bear motif and the crown. The plate without a motif can be polished completely without hesitation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the set suitable for girls or boys?
Both. The teddy bear is one of the few truly gender-neutral christening motifs and works without pink-blue coding.

From what age can the set be used meaningfully?
The mug is suitable as a drinking vessel from about twelve months under supervision, the spoon from the start of complementary feeding at about six months, the plate can be used as a serving or keepsake from birth.

Why does only the plate have no motif?
This is a conscious design decision: The purely polished plate forms a calm frame for the mug and spoon with the bear motif, without distracting attention from the actual image.
