Stabilized wood is created by impregnating natural basswood with colored synthetic resin under vacuum. The resin penetrates deep into the wood structure, hardens it, and simultaneously gives it a color intensity that untreated wood would never achieve. With this ballpoint pen, a dark blue-green is created, under which the natural grain of the basswood remains visible. Since each blank grows differently, the pattern also varies slightly from one piece to another – giving your pen its own character.
