The handle is crafted in the Empire style: richly curved, with a pronounced leaf motif at the upper attachment point and a spherical finial at the lower end. Fully gilded. Then the base. All other carafes in the assortment stand on a one-piece foot ring or a simple foot. The Legende stands on four individual, separate feet — four forged elements, each with a laurel leaf embellishment and a spherical base at the tip. A finely crafted bead-pattern border finishes the transition to the carafe's body. This base is not just a foundation — it is architecture. Empire architecture. The golden finish of the four feet leaves no doubt that every element here was a deliberate decision.

And on the front: the medallion. A circular escutcheon — a cartouche in the classical tradition of the Empire and Russian historicism — framed by symmetrical acanthus leaf work. A 3,000-year-old technique. Almost extinct in Europe. Still alive in the SevChern manufactory in Veliky Ustyug, one of Russia's oldest silver cities with over 340 years of goldsmithing tradition.

What distinguishes the Legende from other carafes with Niello is the extent of its gilding. In the Opulence, gold glows in the petals.
