Material and Workmanship

All three parts are made of 925 sterling silver and feature the same Niello decoration: three symmetrically arranged floral clusters, each with a gilded accent flower. The carafe has a bulbous body with a narrow neck and a fully gilded lid, which also bears a narrow Niello floral band. Gilded rings at the neck and lower body accentuate the shape. The cognac glass stands on its own foot, its interior is fully gilded, a continuous Niello band adorns the lower body, and a gilded foot ring completes the look. The shot glass intentionally comes without a foot — a design common in Russian drinking tradition — its interior is also fully gilded, a wide gilded rim and a narrow ring form the finish. The manufacture originates from Russia.

Use and Occasions

The 300 ml carafe is designed for cognac, whiskey, vodka, or other noble spirits. The cognac glass is suitable for swirling and warming cognac or brandy, the shot glass for fruit brandies, vodka, liqueur, or grappa. Care
