Material and workmanship

Both parts are made of pure 925 sterling silver. The spoon has a small duckling figure on the handle top, the handle itself is wavy and guides the child's hand when grasping. The rattle features a larger, elaborate duck sculpture with head, wing and tail details on an ornamental handle. The set is manufactured by ArgentA from the Royal Childhood line.

Occasions and target groups

The duckling motif is gender-neutral and suitable for birth, christening and baby shower alike. As a godfather or godmother, you are giving a timeless motif that is not limited to blue or pink. As grandparents, the set is also suitable as a gift for the first birthday, when the child begins to use the spoon themselves.

The spoon can be engraved on the back of the handle - there is enough space for a name, date or a short dedication. The rattle with the plastically worked duck sculpture cannot be engraved due to its continuous shape. Care

925 sterling silver develops a slight patina over time, which can be quickly removed with a soft silver polishing cloth. Hand washing with mild dish soap is sufficient for both parts; we advise against using a dishwasher due to heat and aggressive cleaners.
