Baby spoon 925 silver apple — red enamel, partially gold-plated

First porridge, first tooth: How do you capture such days before they are gone? This 925 sterling silver baby spoon features a red enamel apple in the round handle head and can be personalized with the child's name on the back. A gift for a birth that can accompany them all the way to their first spoonful of porridge.

A red apple in the round handle head

The apple sits in a small round area at the end of the handle. It is filled with red enamel and framed by a golden outline; a leaf and another flourish next to it are set in green. Below the head comes a gold-plated dot flanked by green and dark blue enamel dots. Round reliefs follow on the handle, and the bowl has a few small tactile points.

The manufacturer states a length of 125 mm and a width of 26 mm, and the weight is approx. 20 g. In the white case with rainbow ribbon and bow, it looks festive right from the moment you open it (the packaging design may vary).

The name behind the apple

The apple sits on the front, leaving the back of the head free for lettering: 10 to 12 characters fit there, usually it is a name. Here is how to order: Call up the engraving service, add the flat fee to the cart along with the spoon, and complete the order. We will then coordinate the spelling with you.

Additionally, you can request a SilberVerse card; it costs nothing. It is a short verse on photo paper that can accompany the gift.

First porridge, first tooth, birth

Apple porridge is one of the first types of porridge in many families, so the motif is perfect for the start of solid food. For the first tooth, the spoon is a gift for a special occasion, and for a birth, a silver gift with a motif that parents will understand immediately. The apple can also be interpreted as a symbol of a fresh start; no one has to decide.

You can find the same design with a red enamel heart with the Heart Spoon. More options are available under Silver Baby Spoons.

Questions about the apple spoon

How much space is there for the name?
Up to twelve characters, usually a first name. A longer name can be discussed with us beforehand.

What is gilded on the spoon?
The manufacturer describes it as partially gilded: parts of the handle head are gilded, such as the outline around the apple. The rest of the spoon is shiny silver.

Is the spoon also a gift for the first tooth?
Yes, the apple motif is just as suitable for solid food and the first tooth as it is for a birth. Further ideas for the beginning: Gifts for a birth.

Do I need to treat the enamel specially?
Rinse it briefly by hand after eating, then dry it gently. Harsh cleaners and the dishwasher are too rough for enamel and gilding.

How heavy is a silver spoon?
The apple spoon weighs approx. 20 g and is 125 mm long. The heart spoon has the same shape (approx. 22 g); all models are shown under silver baby spoons.
