Material and workmanship
A silver plate for desserts has a different function than a dinner plate: It presents and highlights. The slightly oval shape with its two curved edge sections features a niello ornament, accompanied by fine frame lines – a calm, classic design shaped by the Russian silverware tradition. The center of the plate remains polished and is framed by a delicate engraving line, so that eyes are automatically guided to the surface on which food is served.
Use and occasions
With 158 x 127 mm, the plate offers enough surface for a dessert, a piece of cake, or an elaborate petit four. A 925 sterling silver plate is a gift that is permanent and finds a permanent place – on the table, in the display cabinet, or in the kitchen for special occasions. It is suitable for anniversaries, birthdays, Easter, or Christmas and can be combined with further silver tableware to create a harmonious ensemble.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
We engrave a dedication on the back of the plate after inspection. You add the flat fee for the engraving service directly to the shopping cart; we then check the surface and agree on the wording with you; if no engraving is possible, we refund the flat fee. The SilberVerse card in photo format (15 × 10 cm, free, individually labeled) can additionally complement the gift upon request.
Care
Rinse by hand – no dishwasher. The niello ornament is permanently fused in and requires no special care during cleaning. A soft silver polishing cloth cares for the polished surfaces. Store dry.
