Description
It stands at the centre of the table and draws the eye first. The porcelain and silver sugar bowl is a white, fluted vessel (390 ml) with a lid, silver ring and two handles in 925 silver, in a case. It suits a golden wedding anniversary as a gift and complements the Symphonie tea set.

Porcelain and silver sugar bowl: vessel, lid and handles
The case holds the bowl with its lid, without saucer and without spoon. The vessel is rounded and ribbed, the lid carries a ring grip, and two volute handles sweep out at the sides.
The ribbed vessel is bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg. The silver parts are made by ArgentA, and the line is called Symphonie.
Foliage, volutes and a ring on the lid
The setting shows foliage and blossoms, with feet beneath it like those on the cup of the line. The lid carries the ring by which you lift it.
Handles and setting are made by art casting and polished by hand. The ring on the lid is also silver. On the handles and foliage, the blackened finish sits in the recesses; it is not a coat of paint.
On the laid table for a golden wedding anniversary
For the celebration, the bowl stands at the centre of the table, filled with sugar cubes. You can also give it as a housewarming gift.
