Spice jar set 4-piece 925 silver relief

A complete condiment ensemble made of 925 sterling silver: salt shaker, pepper shaker, a spice jar, and a round serving tray, all four pieces featuring the same floral niello ornament. The Relief collection adds extra depth to the motif – it is not just engraved, but sculpted three-dimensionally from the silver. Four pieces that belong together on the table and should stay there.

Material and workmanship

All four pieces originate from the SevChern manufactory and are crafted from solid 925 sterling silver. The Relief collection is characterized by a three-dimensional surface design: the floral motif is not merely engraved but modeled, standing out visibly from the background. Combined with the niello technique, in which a black metal alloy is fused into the engraved lines, a contrast is created that appears three-dimensional in the light. All pieces of the set are hallmarked.

Use and occasions

This set is intended for the dining table: salt and pepper in the two shakers, a third spice blend of your choice in the spice jar, all kept together on the tray. Those looking for a gift for a wedding or silver anniversary will find a set of silverware here that will not disappear into a cupboard, but will be used regularly. A complete set of this kind is also a lasting gift idea for a housewarming or for Christmas.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Engraving on the tray is possible upon review – names, a date, or a short dedication. Upon request, we will also include a personal SilberVerse card in 15 × 10 cm photo format, individually designed to suit the occasion and free of charge. Simply specify your request in the order field.

Care

• Hand wash: warm water, mild detergent, no dishwasher
• No silver dip: the niello inlays would be damaged
• Dry cloth: dry immediately after washing
• Storage: in the gift box or wrapped in a cloth

Frequently asked questions

Are the vessels suitable for daily use?

Yes. They are made of solid 925 sterling silver and intended for regular use. Niello silver does not change negatively over time – the contrasts tend to become more defined with polishing.

What does the relief technique mean for this set?

Relief means that the motif is not engraved flat, but sculpted three-dimensionally from the silver. In combination with the black niello inlay, a contrast is created that shows significantly more depth in the light than a simple engraving.

Can I expand the set later?

The set is designed as a complete 4-piece ensemble. In our tableware collection, you will find other pieces made of 925 silver that can be combined with it on the table.
