Material and craftsmanship

The bowl of this serving spoon features the Astra ornament as a floral vine pattern in gold, unfolding along the edge of the pearlescent white bowl — flowers and leaves finely worked into the gold-plated surface. On the handle, the motif is repeated in a smaller area with black niello inlay, the characteristic contrasting material that gives the Astra Classic collection its unmistakable look. The aster motif, from which the pattern takes its name, symbolizes grace and endurance — fitting for a piece that is used time and again for festive occasions.
