Description
Small, but with a clear attitude: this oval serving tray made of 925 sterling silver belongs to the Tsar Celebration Collection and demonstrates that size has nothing to do with impact. A fully gold-plated rim with fine scrollwork engraving, two flared handle ends with dark color accents, and a calm, smooth silver surface in the center — a tray for small, conscious moments.
At a glance
- Length: 157 mm
- Width: 95 mm
- Height: 5 mm
- Weight: approx. 101 g
- Material: 925 sterling silver with gilding
- Collection: Tsar Celebration
- Packaging: gift and protective case
With its delicate proportions, the tray is suitable for special small-scale moments: as an elegant coaster for a glass of champagne, as a small stage for confections, rings, or chocolates at an engagement or golden wedding anniversary. It also functions as a subtle luxury object in the living space — in the bedroom as a jewelry tray, on a console as a quiet highlight. Despite its compact size, the solid silver ensures palpable stability.
Material and craftsmanship
The base consists of 925 sterling silver — 92.5% fine silver, harder than 999 fine silver — refined with a warm, shimmering gilding on the rim. On both handle ends, a dark, floral-patterned cartouche adds an additional color accent. The tray comes from the SevChern manufacture.
Regarding the precise technique of these dark edge accents — whether executed as a niello inlay or as colored enamel decoration — no definitive statement can be made based on the provided product image. If the exact decoration technique is important to you, please feel free to contact us before placing your order.
Usage and occasions
For couples looking for a meaningful yet compact gift for a wedding or golden wedding anniversary, this tray is an exquisite choice. For hosts with an eye for detail, it is suitable as a small presentation surface during festive dinner parties. Those who wish to showcase fine silver objects in everyday life will find a piece here that speaks quietly but clearly for itself.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Engraving is only possible to a limited extent and must be checked individually in advance due to the gold-plated and decorated surfaces. For a personal presentation, you can additionally have a SilberVerse card designed: 15 × 10 cm in landscape format, free of charge, individually tailored to the gift.
Care
Clean the tray exclusively by hand, using a soft cloth and mild dish soap. A silver polishing cloth is suitable for polishing. Please treat gold-plated and decorated surfaces with particular care.
